26 April, Dhuri: Learning takes place when it is attached with the real life experiences and following such a postulate DPS DHURI took its students of grade-IV to the nearest farming plot where they were shown the cropping pattern of wheat, the field owner explained the basics of farming and an ideal condition to grow wheat. In this field trip about 48 students were taken in company of the teachers of Social Studies and Science as it integrates to both of the academic subjects. The children found it pretty useful in context of the ongoing chapter based on farming and the school unit encouraged them too.
